Energy to Quality has successfully finished a continuity voltage ride through campaign campaign in a Nordex N-90-2500kW wind turbine, installed at Chirnogeni Wind Farm in Romania.
The permit to connect of a wind farm to the Romanian grid involves the fulfilment of the several technical requirementsestablished by the company TRANSELECTRICA in the document: “Compulsory technical requirements for a wind farm in order to begin the commissioning tests for the component wind generating units”.
Among the requirements for each type of wind turbine, it is listed the proof of the fulfilment of the requirements determined in Article 9 of the technical standard Nº51 referring to the continuity of supply against voltage dips. This verification have to be carried out based on reports issued by international competent laboratories. Energy to Quality has an international accreditation for the measurement, register and analysis of voltage dips pursuant the technical standard 51: “Condiţii tehnice de racordare la reţelele electrice de interes public pentru centralele electrice eoliene”.
Energy to Quality possesses a wide international experience in the performance of electric and grid integration studies, and has numerous accreditations issued by the accreditation body ENAC.
