The Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (MERNNR [1]) of Ecuador has awarded the development of the 200 MW El Aromo photovoltaic project and the 110 MW Villonaco II and III wind farms to the companies Solarpack and Consorcio Cobra Zero-E, respectively.
Barlovento has collaborated in the development of the Villonaco II and III wind project, which will be built in Membrillo-Ducal and Huayrapamba sites, in the province of Loja.
Barlovento has been collaborating in the development of renewable energies in Ecuador for more than nine years, through projects for companies, public bodies, and universities.
