Barlovento´s Electrical Laboratory has just successfully finished a Low Voltage Ride Through Test at the PV plant Pascialone (4.5 MW) on the French island of Corsica, for the Group EDF [1] (Électricité de France).
The group EDF, in pursuit of providing the best of services for its clients, wanted to test part of the grid in order to study its behaviour before faults and so being able to improve the system.
Barlovento has moved one of our Mobile Dips Generator led by one of our group of technicians to the PV plant located in the Haute-Corse region to carry out the campaign.
The tests have taken place during a week, in which the collaboration between EDF’s workers and our technicians has fostered the generation of several voltage dips with different configurations adapted to the needs of the client. The results will be studied, verified and analysed both by Barlovento and EDF for the continuous improvement of the services rendered.
Thanks to this pioneering campaign, Barlovento keeps improving the expertise and quality of our Electrical Laboratory, taking active part in the use and development of renewable energies.
