As in previous editions, Barlovento Brasil will be present at Brazil Windpower 2017, the biggest wind energy event in Latin America, which will take place from the 29^th to the 31^st August at the Centro de Convenções SulAmérica in Rio de Janeiro.

More than 100 national and international exhibitors, more than 70 speakers and around 3000 visitors are expected this year.

Nowadays, the most growing source of energy in Brazil is wind energy, thanks to the support of the Brazilian Government with the “Ten Year Plan for Energy Expansion 2024” within which, by the year 2024, Brazil expects 12% of the generated energy in the country comes from the wind.
